I’ll be keeping these bar stools. They are larger than I expected, like the backs and seats are wider than I thought. Luckily I have a lot of room at my island or they might not work. They are very comfortable and seem like sturdy, quality materials so far. I got the khaki color because- kids - and need to be able to wipe them clean easily. The color is kind of a griege, not quite tan but definitely not gray or cream. The legs are sturdy wood and I like the finish is a brown, not yellow or orange. The seat backs are tilted back a bit more than I’d like, almost in a more reclined/relaxed position (they do not wiggle or move). Putting them together was pretty simple and the holes lined up well. First one took me at least 30 minutes but the second was more like 10 because I know what to do. They are sturdy, large, neutral colored and I think will wipe up nicely. Hope that’s helpful.. Amanda. Absolutely love these chairs! We wanted to get something more sturdy than what we had because our toddler was starting to sit on them more. These are very sturdy and great quality! I was concerned they wouldn’t be sturdy enough for my liking, or they would somewhat wobble because the feet were uneven-that was not the case. I love how they swivel as well and they are super comfy. They anre exactly what we wanted and would definitely purchase again. We did have an issue with some missing parts, but I contacted Wayfair and they were able to get the problem solved very quickly. I was extremely happy with how it was all handled. We chose to assemble ourselves (my husband did it) and it was fairly easy. The first chair took the longest but after he got the flow of things the others took about 20ish minutes to assemble. These counter stools are easy to assemble, sturdy, and complement my kitchen as well as adjacent living areas perfectly. I am an 80 senior and assembled my two stools myself. Putting the legs together (first step) was slightly tricky, but every step after went smoothly. The holes for screws are perfectly machined, nicely thought out assembly design. The swivel seats rotate is smooth as can be. In choosing the height for a 36 inch high counter I felt there needed to be something in between the 25 inch and 30 inch stool.
