These stools are reasonably well made. Assembly took me an hour plus for each chair. One set of two chairs (I ordered four chairs total) had one short wooden dowel substituted for the longer dowels (the seller should supply at least one extra dowel in each set, as they did with some of the Allen bolts and screws). All of the wooden dowels should have been slightly larger in diameter for a snug fit (rather than sitting loosely within their holes). We applied spray Scotchguard to the cushions, hoping it will protect the fabric).. Jeanine. Eagle, ID. Sun Sep 27 2026

Perfect touch of warmth to our kitchen. They’re not the sturdiest, but the price point was why we purchased. I also have to put a blanket on them if sitting in short jammies, as the material digs into your skin and feels itchy. Its frame is crafted from mahogany and walnut wood finished in a neutral solid tone. Plus, the seat is cushionless for versatile appeal, but the back still stands out with an openwork cross design.

We bought the Diamondback Solid Wood 24" Counter Stool in Mahogany and we LOVE them! I do wish I had bought the 30" inch stools, but hind sight is 20/20, isn't it? You really cannot tell how it would fit without seeing it in person; honestly, it would be helpful if Wayfair put the both sized stools up to the counter in a photo. For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! You will love them too! If you do buy the 24" inch stools, know that they will be easier for your kids to climb into. My SO says that they were a snap to put together, and the company sends extra screws just in case. [please pardon our mess, it's a busy kitchen]. Pamela. New Mexico. Mon Jul 06 2026
