I’ll be keeping these bar stools. They are larger than I expected, like the backs and seats are wider than I thought. Luckily I have a lot of room at my island or they might not work. They are very comfortable and seem like sturdy, quality materials so far. I got the khaki color because- kids - and need to be able to wipe them clean easily. The color is kind of a griege, not quite tan but definitely not gray or cream. The legs are sturdy wood and I like the finish is a brown, not yellow or orange. The seat backs are tilted back a bit more than I’d like, almost in a more reclined/relaxed position (they do not wiggle or move). Putting them together was pretty simple and the holes lined up well. First one took me at least 30 minutes but the second was more like 10 because I know what to do. They are sturdy, large, neutral colored and I think will wipe up nicely. Hope that’s helpful.. Amanda. I love these stools and have no regrets whatsoever! Love the fully swivel and modern design. The driftwood color is slightly warmer than the last island stools I had which is a huge bonus since it closely matches the wood color of my cabinets (cherry with driftwood glaze). The seats are comfortable and durable and the color beige linen is so sophisticated and classy. The fabric is a tightly woven so hopefully my cat’s claws won’t do too much damage. Because I got such a light color I will plan to spray Scotchguard on these to protect the light fabric from stains. Putting these together was a snap too. It took my a couple house to do all five but it wasn’t complicated at all. I absolutely adore these barstools! I purchased them when we moved into our home six years ago, and I’m happy to say that we still use and love them today. One thing that makes me especially impressed with these chairs is that they’ve survived six years with rambunctious kids. My children are not particularly gentle with furniture, and these chairs have been tipped over more than a few times. As a result, the backrests have loosened and slightly broken in a couple of spots over the years. Thankfully, we’ve been able to tighten everything back up with an Allen wrench, and they’ve remained perfectly usable. The black legs have also accumulated a few chips and scuffs from daily family life, kids running into them, toys, and general wear and tear. However, after six years of heavy use, I still think they look fantastic. One thing to note is that the seats are wood and have decorative grooves where crumbs and food can collect. It’s not a major issue, but you may occasionally need to wipe them out or vacuum the grooves to keep them clean. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these barstools. They are stylish, durable, and have held up remarkably well in a busy household. I receive compliments on them all the time, and people are always surprised when I tell them they’re from Wayfair. I would definitely purchase them again!. Sarah. Hayden, ID. Thu Jun 25 2026
