I bought this as a TV stand for our new living room last year. We have nice big windows and once we assembled it, we realized we didn’t want to block the whole window with a TV. So we decided to mount the TV on the wall and we use this to display these handmaid barns my father made our daughter many years ago. Looks great once put together! Lots of pieces and heavy for one person to bring in. Assembly was spilt into two days for one person to build. It took around 6-7 hours total to put together. If you have a 75” TV you will likely need two people to get the tv onto the integrated mount to make sure it is secure. The physical manual that came with the box showed a slightly different illustration of the back of the mount on the last two pages versus the manual assembly online, which made mounting the TV a bit confusing.. Set aside a full morning or afternoon to assemble properly. There are lots of steps and nuances to putting this cabinet together. When I read some folks took 6 hours to assemble, I thought it was because they did not have a clue how to assemble something like this. I was wrong. A very skilled person assembled ours and I would say it took about the same. But taking your time makes it look so much nicer. We got the distressed wood one, which at the time was more expensive, but the look was what I was going for. The piece looks beautiful, and I love the options of just lights, lights and heat, and already used the timer feature. Only downside we did not see the large dent (must have happened in transit) in the top edge until it was all glued and assembled!!!
