Set aside a full morning or afternoon to assemble properly. There are lots of steps and nuances to putting this cabinet together. When I read some folks took 6 hours to assemble, I thought it was because they did not have a clue how to assemble something like this. I was wrong. A very skilled person assembled ours and I would say it took about the same. But taking your time makes it look so much nicer. We got the distressed wood one, which at the time was more expensive, but the look was what I was going for. The piece looks beautiful, and I love the options of just lights, lights and heat, and already used the timer feature. Only downside we did not see the large dent (must have happened in transit) in the top edge until it was all glued and assembled!!! We needed new dresser for our bedroom to replace an old wooden dresser that was outdated. I like this dresser because of the multiple drawers that is deep and can fit a lot of clothes. I was able to use my organizers for my socks and lingerie and its fits perfectly. It was easy to assemble and lightweight. The drawers are made of cloth. It has 2 USB ports for changing and 2 electrical outlets. Its not very wide so it gave us extra space for moving.
