I'm a 67 yr. old petite woman and I just finished assembling this cabinet by myself, using only a screwdriver and it took me about 3 hours. It's very well made, instructions are easy to follow, but I did see the complaints about the difficulty with the doors, but I did not have a problem with the doors. Be aware that if your TV is 55" like in the photo, once you position it on the cabinet the TV legs will hang off either the front or back of the cabinet. I recently purchased this TV stand and overall, I’m really happy with it… Especially considering how stylish and functional it is for the price. Storage is another big win. It has a great mix of shelves and closed compartments which make it easy to organize everything. My only complaint is that the assembly process was a bit confusing. The instructions weren’t as clear as they could have been, and I had to go back a couple of steps at one point. It took longer than expected to put together but once it was put together, it felt sturdy and well built, so the effort paid off. I would definitely recommend this product. Anonymous. My son and I put this TV stand together fairly easily. It took 35 minutes and required no tools except for a Phillips head screwdriver for the anti-tip restraint. It was a little tricky getting the sides attached, but one has only to slide up from the wide part to the narrow part to lock the sides into place at the top and bottom. It was a little tricky keeping the sides open for those portions where we needed them open to connect the sections. The top is heavy and it is overall quite sturdy. The wood has a pleasant smell and the doors are a nice touch. The black wood grain is elegant and the finish is shiny.
