It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. This wardrobe is adorable! I am actually using it as storage in my laundry area. It took me a few hours to assemble. I used an impact (power screwdriver) even though the instructions say to use a screwdriver. It's way faster just be careful not to plow through the screw holes.
