Fits the pull out in my cabinet really well. I had looked everywhere for trash bins that would work. The bins aren't the same size top to bottom. The dimensions given are for the top of the bins. It is 35qt, pretty decent size considering it is double trash can. It is convenient because my neighborhood have recycled bin so having a double trash can really help separating the trash easily.
