This is a beautiful piece. It did take two people to put together, but it was pretty straightforward. The space on top provides us with extra room to display items, and the drawers are perfect for storing trash bags, etc. The only reason for the four stars versus five is that we purchased this item to use in our kitchen as a trash can, as described, and it came with cloth -like storage baskets. This piece definitely took more time and problem-solving to build than expected, a little over three hours total. The finished product looks really nice, and the color is beautiful. The assembly process was a bit more involved than I anticipated and required some patience and careful attention to detail. A few areas needed some adjusting during setup, particularly around the cabinet doors, to get everything aligned and opening smoothly. Once everything was properly positioned though, the final result looked great and felt sturdy. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not a quick or beginner-level assembly, so taking your time during the build will definitely help. We didn’t have the electric screwdriver - that would’ve made it easier but we would’ve had to be careful not to break the wood - it says that on the directions. The cabinet is nice, not super duty but def stable when for my home. The tilt out trash can we love. I wish the cupboard side had shelves, that would’ve been nice. As it is there’s a huge area of wasted sauce that shelves would’ve helped to make useful. Also it’s not white, it’s cream with faux wood paint, so just plan accordingly. Overall, I’m really happy with this trash can cabinet. Assembly was fairly straightforward overall, though a few parts of the instructions were a little confusing to understand at first. Once everything was sorted out, setup went smoothly and took a little over two hours. The color looks beautiful in person, and it comfortably fits a large standard kitchen trash can, even one with a lid, which I was pleasantly surprised by.
