Bring a traditional charm to your home while making it look elevated. This artful landscape motif porcelain jar is hand-crafted and -painted from the body to the final touch. It's a luxurious addition to have for the home.

The Blue and White Porcelain Oval Fruit Jar with Lid from Legend of Asia carries one of the most enduring decorative traditions in ceramics. Cobalt brushwork covers the body of this fruit jar with blossoms, ripening fruit and scrolling vines, painted freehand so every piece differs slightly. The softly flattened oval jar shape gives it a slimmer profile than a standard ginger jar, which makes this lidded jar easy to place against a wall, on a narrow ledge, or as shelf decor between stacked books. High fired in southern China until the porcelain jar body is dense and sealed, it is fully waterproof and weatherproof. As a blue vase it brings classic blue white color to a mantel, and as a small statement piece it anchors chinoiserie decor and layered asian decor.

The Blue and White Foo Dog Temple Jar from Legend of Asia gathers two icons of Chinese design into one piece. The classic temple jar body swells generously and closes with a domed lid crowned by a sculpted foo dog, the guardian lion long believed to watch over a household. Cobalt brushwork covers the surface in the blue white tradition, painted freehand in southern China and high fired until the porcelain jar is dense, sealed and weatherproof. Follow the ginger jar convention and place a pair to frame a doorway, stand this lidded jar as floor decor beside a hearth, or set the blue vase on an entry chest where guests meet it first. Formal yet warm, it delivers authentic chinoiserie decor and heirloom quality asian decor in a single statement.

Mountains, water and pavilions wrap this Legend of Asia temple jar in continuous scenery, a landscape motif borrowed directly from classical Chinese scroll painting. Pale washes build distance behind darker foreground strokes, giving the porcelain jar a sense of perspective that few blue white pieces attempt. Every jar is shaped on the wheel, hand painted freehand and sealed with a high fire glaze, so small differences in tone and line work distinguish one from the next. Generously scaled and topped with its own domed lid, this tall jar draws the eye upward and holds scale as console decor beneath a mirror or a large artwork. It makes a considered collector gift and a natural centrepiece for a room built around chinoiserie decor.
