I love my new wall decals! The application, though it took patience, went pretty smoothly. After applying them to the wall, I heated it with a hair dryer and it really grabbed. You can actually see my wall texture through the decal. The heat from the hair dryer makes it look painted on. I am so happy with the results! However, if I decide to ever remove it, the heat definitely made it more difficult. Just saying that if you decide to use heat (optional) make sure you have the placement how you want it, because you will no longer be able to reposition. Absolutely gorgeous decals. I chose the cream option, and it is a perfect blend of subtle pink, grey, and cream. The price is hard to swallow, even with how great they turned out, but they are very large and beautiful. Fairly easy to install once I got into a rhythm with it. I found the decals would peel off of the wall while removing the the top protective layer unless they were peeled off flush with the wall (not the recommended 45 degrees). They were slightly challenging to cut out in some spots as the decals were spaced very close to one another and one slip of the scissors could have ruined a few. I found holding the sheet up to the light while cutting was the safest bet for not accidentally cutting the decals on the lighter coloured edges that blend in with the protective backings. There were more than enough decals to go on 2 walls, giving us flexibility on where to move the bed when my daughter grows.. Caley. Qualicum Beach, BC. Tue Feb 19 2019
