The print is excellent and my French Canadian friends loved it as much as I love it.The late 19th century painting depicts French men, women and children on a seaside park
sitting, standing,playing; some gazing at the boats in the water. All the people are dressed in
fashionable period clothing which is enjoyable to see how the French were authentically dressed at that time. The colors were varied in beautifully muted hues which made the print fit several rooms.
The disappointment is that the prints were not framed and the wayfair representative told me the prints were framed because the dimensions were 16x24x2.7 inches and 2.7 inches width represented the frame.
She even checked with some company warehouse employee who told her they were in stock.
Two of the prints were gifts for friends who were leaving on a trip to France so I had to rush and find frames and have them installed before they left.
Also something unusual about the print that was not mentioned in the description was that it is
a "decal" that is made to be attached as such to a wall. Instructions on how to do this are included. However, they can be mounted in frames or on simply on white foam core board.
When ordering, make sure you talk with a wayfair representative to get exact description of what you are ordering e.g. do the prints come with or without a frame and how to make sure you will get what you ordered.
The price and the print are worth it.
