The rug is much a more royal/brighter blue in person than it looks on the website where I thought it was a darker true blue. When the sun shines directly on it, some of the fibers are really reflective, almost looking like blue Astro turf. Fortunately, only a small corner of ours gets direct sun for only a couple of hours in the afternoon. It looks great at night with our lighting. The other reason I took off a couple of stars is that the rug isn’t exactly square. One edge isn’t straight, so it either lines up with the fireplace and not the floorboards or vice versa. Not super noticeable, but annoying when we put it down. We got sent the wrong rug on the first delivery, so we were delayed in having a rug for an extra week. The abstract yellow/blue rug arrived earlier than expected. After unrolling, there were a few ripples and waves. I did a reverse roll, and they were gone in less than a day. The colors match the website photographs although there is one small area near the end of the rug that has a white vertical line. Not a deal breaker, and I imagine most people would not notice.
