Designed for over 2,000 square feet, the AQFS234l jumbo salt free water softener and filter system is a proven approach to treating hard water. By combining a natural, scale prevention media with powerful carbon block filtration, this all-in-one system will prevent limescale from forming in your pipes, fixtures and appliances while eliminating chlorine odor and taste. In addition, the healthy minerals your body needs are not removed or replaced with salt. Now you can have clean, great tasting water without the salt, cost, and hassle. This system utilizes a 1 micron carbon filtration medium that removes chlorine, chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, pesticides, sediment, rust, VOCs, trihalomethanes, and more while reducing hard water scale. It is effective in a water hardness up to 25 GPG. Unlike salt-based systems, the minerals that make water “hard” are not removed. Instead, our proprietary scale reduction media prevents these minerals from forming scale and keeps them in a dissolved state. This scale reduction media will also prevent corrosion caused by iron, silica and chlorides and will also slowly remove existing. The AQFS234L is designed as a point of entry (POE) system and includes a 6 month cartridge.
