The AQFS236 is a jumbo salt-free water softener system designed for larger homes and commercial facilities or in situations requiring higher flow rates. As a combined water filtration system and softening solution, there's no need to worry about multiple systems to provide clean, conditioned water. The AQFS236 will prevent harmful hard water scale (limescale) from forming on your pipes and other plumbing fixtures while eliminating chlorine odor and taste. The system will also remove sediment, rust, chloramine, and pesticides while preventing corrosion caused by chlorides, silica and iron. The larger diameter housing is equipped with a built-in bypass and shut-off valve. It supports our jumbo cartridges which utilize a solid carbon block with a salt-free, scale prevention media to condition and filter your water at the entry point. Our cartridge is rated for up to 6 months and filters your water to 5 microns. The system housing is constructed of a durable, heavy-wall, UV resistant plastic and is recommended for homes over 2000 square feet. The included cartridge will last 6-9 months.
