I was honestly positively surprised by this comforter. When you first take it out of the packaging, it looks a bit wrinkled, which is completely normal, but the moment you touch it, you immediately feel the quality. This duvet is made with soft, plush microfiber fill, a high quality polyester that's meant to mimic the softness of down. The shell is soft 300 thread count cotton.Microfiber doesn't have the same insulating properties as down, so microfiber duvets are heavier weight. A fair bit of fill is required to achieve the desired warmth. One benefit of a synthetic duvet is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

Good quality fabric. Plump duvet, good weight. Does the job in cold weather. Pleased with this purchase.. Korinne. NS. Mon Jan 27 2025

The comforters have sewn through box quilting so that the down-alternative fill doesn’t bunch or shift. Four corner loops on the comforter can be tied to help secure it within a duvet cover. The filling is also hypoallergenic so you’ll have a comfortable "sneeze-free" night’s sleep. It’s also machine washable for easy care. This comforter is also certified, meaning it does not contain any harmful substances or chemicals, ensuring quality comfort and wellness. Items in the set may come in a rolled or compressed packaging, which will need to be fluffed up or steam ironed before use to remove wrinkles.A great night's sleep never goes out of style.
