The comforter set is beautiful. It's August so I won't use it until October but I haven't noticed shedding, (comments from other reviewers). I gave it 4 stars because even though it is super soft, it really looks like what it is, "faux" fur. There is one seam down the length of the comforter which was very obvious, but that can be remedied by carefully picking the trapped fur fibers out of the seam. I bought a King size for a Queen bed that has a super thick mattress. The 106 inch width of the comforter barely covers my box spring. If you have a bed that sits high, like mine, you might want to consider ordering a size up. I'll post pictures once I style-up my bed in October...it really is pretty. UPDATE: King sized comforter to fit extra thick queen mattress was just right. The queen sized comforter would have been way too small in order to achieve a good overhang. Very warm and attractive. I wanted to get my brother a new spread and shams, being an outdoors kind of guy I knew he would just love this set. And I was right, it's just so warm and cozy without being so heavy. It's perfect in Florida and for all types of weather. The color is vibrant and it did well in machine and I hung it on the line, but I'm sure it'll do well in the dryer.
