Love the quilt the look and the weight. Just what I needed to make my guest room not feminine for when my son is here. What I don’t like is, as other reviews stated after just one wash it pilled up on the decorated side. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was the other side. I’m hoping it will go away or I’ll have to get one of those fabric shavers. I did wash it by itself in cold and let it hang dry over my couch. The colors are stunning — the main shade is a soft, neutral tone with just the right touch of deep purple or burgundy. It feels nicely made and looks even better in person. It’s heavier than what I personally prefer, but that’s just my taste, not a flaw in the comforter. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of my own preferences and lifestyle. If you have pets or a busy household, this set might be a little harder to keep in good shape. I bought the queen size, and even though it says it’s machine washable, I’m not sure I’d risk it — and realistically, it probably won’t fit in a standard washing machine anyway.
