The box became damaged during transit. After opening and removing the first layer of the plastic wrap I begin hearing an oozing sound, contrary to me not even opening the standard vacuum wrapped plastic. After expanding fully, the mattress appears uneven while maintaining it has the firm feel. I haven’t slept on it yet but from me sitting on it it’s pretty firm. Overall it’s okay for the price.. For an inexpensive mattress, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this one is. I would describe it as a medium firmness—not overly soft or too firm. One thing to be aware of is that there is very little edgeside support. If strong edge support is important to you, this probably isn’t the mattress I would choose. Otherwise, it’s quite comfortable for the price and feels like a good value. It arrives compressed and rolled in a box and expands once you open it. Our shipping box arrived pretty beat up, which made me nervous, but thankfully the mattress itself was very well wrapped in plastic. Even though the box had been exposed to moisture, the mattress stayed completely dry and protected. Overall, a comfortable, affordable mattress as long as you don’t need much edge support..
