Inspired by pure thickness. Maybe we've lost our minds here at coma inducer or maybe we've always had a couple of screws loose??? But we've become obsessed with thick. Seriously though, who likes a weak comforter? Does anyone enjoy getting a comforter vacuum smushed in a box that looks like a flat sheet and comes with instructions to shake it out and wait 4 days? And, after those 4 days are up, it's still so thin you wonder if you were sent a flat sheet. The thought of such a comforter makes us sick! Sure, it's harder to create, produce, and ship such impossibly huge comforters that are "thicker than thick"... But isn't that the whole point? With the number of hours, we sleep (or should sleep) each night, it should be a crime to have a flat sheet-like comforter. Our thicker-than-thick coma inducer consists of 800 gsm of thick, pure goodness. Overly thick filling combined with cozy soft plush creates a deep sleep experience like no other. The blue is the perfect shade! It comes vacuum sealed. Mine had been unopend and in storage for a long period of time. Just throw it into the dryer for the time suggested and it fluffs up nicely. This duvet is made with soft, plush microfiber fill, a high quality polyester that's meant to mimic the softness of down. The shell is soft 300 thread count cotton.Microfiber doesn't have the same insulating properties as down, so microfiber duvets are heavier weight. A fair bit of fill is required to achieve the desired warmth. One benefit of a synthetic duvet is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

Overall this comforter will work for my needs. The pattern is as pictured and I like that it’s on both sides. The fabric isn’t the softest but it’s cool and cotton which is nice for me.
