It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. Love how it looks on the bed. When I first took it out of the freeze dried pkg it was so wrinkled I didn’t think I would ever get all the wrinkles out but my husband put it in the washer and spun it out. Dried a while on cool air. Then took it out and laid it flat on an extra bed and left it there to air dry. It looked much better. I’m really impressed with this. It is beyond my exceptions for the price. The white is a bright white. The plush is plushy. I was hesitant buying knowing it’s polyester and I sometimes feel hot at night. I would still recommend cotton shell if you’re a hot sleeper and not this but it’s not too bad paired with my cotton percale sheets it’s a good balance of crisp cool sheets and a cozy comforter.
