This product is designed to provide excellent support under any mattress. It ships in a compact box and can be easily assembled in minutes — without any tools! Unlike traditional box springs, our foundation can be broken down quickly if you’re moving or need to maneuver around tight corners. A Casper Foundation ensures that mattresses, sleep as they should. Some older box springs or foundations don’t provide a solid surface, causing mattresses to sag from the support breaks. Our Casper Foundations slats are positioned a perfect four inches apart for optimal support. A strong and level foundation helps mattresses perform at their peak for a decade or more, no matter what kind of bed frame they sit on. Casper Foundations and mattresses are the perfect pair. We spent over a year developing the Casper Foundations, so its design has the same considerations as our mattresses.

Easy to put together. Very sturdy. There are screws heads in the bed frame in 3 places down the middle of the frame and the center piece of the foundation sits on the screw heads. So it doesn’t fit flat on the frame. Either the makers of the bed or the foundation need to accommodate this space for the screw heads. I coved the foundation with a fitted sheet since it only comes in one dark color.. Doug. Erie, MI. Wed Jun 24 2026

I bought this because my mattress needed to be a little higher to be even with my nightstands. I live alone, and it looked like I might be able to deal with these folding foundations on my own. The box they were delivered in was a bit heavy and awkward to get into the house (I wish all large boxes had handles punched into them), but once I did, it was easy enough to maneuver the foundations into place under my existing mattress. Another plus is that they lift the mattress above a one inch lip around the bed's platform, making it quite a bit easier to put clean sheets on. So far, they don't make any noise and solved all the problems I was hoping to solve.. Elaine. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Sep 03 2026

I needed support under a mattress, but the frame has short sides, and I did not want to add 3"-4" height. This product is only 1.5", very sturdy, and perfect for this application, versus a standard box spring, or plywood.. Rita. Silver Spring, MD. Sat Jun 13 2026

It adds support to any mattress type and will keep the mattress in good shape thus extending the life of your mattress the wooden slats made out of black spruce wood are linked to prevent movement during use and they effortlessly extend your mattress's life span and prevent sagging it will give firm bottom support for the mattress these can be avoided with the use of slats using slats doubles the mattress' life expectancy these slats is a good alternative instead of a box spring that may be too high for day beds it will give the bed a lift without adding much height these slats is strong enough to be used directly on bed frame instead of a box spring.

This came in two parts since I have a queen bed. It helps so much make the bed stiffer. My mattress is too soft and this definitely made it stiffer and cheaper than a new mattress. Install is super easy. Anonymous. Ballwin, MO. Sun Aug 02 2026
