This is an interesting mattress. It is stiffer than a normal bit it forms around you when laying down. The mattress did not come with instructions on how long to let it sit before sleeping on it. I was looking for an affordable king-size mattress and decided to give this one a try. The 12-inch memory foam provides a comfortable medium-firm feel with great support. I bought two of these for a pop-up trundle bed for guest use since it claimed to join into a king size bed. That is a different story. These mattress came vacuum-sealed and expanded to almost full size by the time I got the plastic off. The topper is nice material and can be zipped off for easy cleaning. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. I do not believe you will find a better mattress in this price range and I would even venture that these out-match ones that are much more expensive. Very please with this purchase.. Chris. MI. Was a little worried on ordering a replacement sleeper mattress online without seeing it in person but this mattress is great. You’ll need to let it fully inflate so your sofa will be out of commission during that time. This is nice quality, but I would not call it a mattress, I would call it a nice memory foam topper. This is not something you can just put on the floor and have guests sleep on, it’s not thick enough or firm enough. I’m going to use this on top of an air bed for guests so it will be a great mattress topper, but the name of the product is just a little bit misleading, even though they say it has to be used in a camper, etc. If you purchase this to use as a mattress alone, you will be disappointed, however, if you purchase it to use as a nice mattress topper, I think you will be very pleased with the quality..
