We absolutely love this pergola!!! We have a fun sun exposure that made our deck so uncomfortable now we can enjoy it.

I really love the look of this pergola. I used Handy for install and they did a great job. I would not attempt to do this without at least 3 people. The shade portion can be slid either way, which is really nice and it is held in place by magnets. We may add some lubrication to the wheels as they can be a little rough to slide. We have it attached to our wooden deck so will see how it holds up through the seasons.

Product is exactly as represented in description and online imagery. We love it! Assembly requires study and forethought, as well as some brawn. ☺️

Assembled in about 5hrs all parts arrived in great shape. Very good product.

Absolutely love it! All pieces were included, great quality. I included a picture with the Canopy open and closed. Took 4 hours with 2 people to assemble.

I installed this pergola a few weeks ago on our patio. It took me about 4.5 hours with minimal assistance- basically I assembled everything and recruited my wife and son for the step where you put the entire frame together, and later he helped me with the shade. I'm not a particularly handy person and I didn't have any trouble with the assembly. The directions are actually excellent with one exception- the magnet installation is not well described and the magnets themselves don't fit well. When you reach this step, look at the photo of the magnet on the item's page on Wayfair and it'll show you that the magnets themselves face out, not the bracket. The pergola gives an impression of quality. It definitely needs to be secured to the surface it is on for windy areas, but ~15 mph winds didn't move it before I secured ours. The shade feels well made and slides easily. The covers that go on each end to keep the shade mildly covered flap around in the wind (they're only secured on each end) so I might tack them down in the middle also. But other than that, I feel it is well made. One hole wasn't happy receiving the supplied bolt(s), so I replaced it with a self-tapping screw and all is well. The hardware feels solid and the guy at the local hardware store was impressed with the quality of the concrete anchors. Overall, we're happy with this purchase. I'll update the review if anything changes. For now, we're just waiting for our furniture to arrive! Update: it's been 6 months and we still love it. The ability to slide the canopy all the way open allows us to have fires in a fire pit that run really hot without being worried about it melting or deforming.

Love love love it. It’s definitely a big job to assemble and there is a point that you need a 3rd and even a 4th to help. But it’s up and gorgeous. One thing we’re looking into is raising it up about 12-18 inches to align with the porch roof. Otherwise it’s perfect!!

We just got it set up today. So far so good other than it came with a big dent in the post. There are a lot of parts so be prepared to spend an afternoon assembling. Most of the directions are pretty clear and would definitely be helpful to have 3 people to raise, we maybe could have done it with two of us but we had some wind while assembling. I can't wait for a sunny day tomorrow and really give it a test drive.

The assembly was not too bad, but the instructions could’ve been a little more clear. Make sure to verify the alignment of all posts with the pictures so you don’t have to undo any pieces as you assemble it. The canopy is waterproof but won’t hold up to a heavy rain. The only downside is that the magnets on top don’t hold the canopy in place as it still slides. Once it was completed it was totally worth it. We had a few hiccups during the assembly process but I absolutely love it now that’s it’s put together.

We are so happy with this! Well-packed and labeled, with good instructions. It looks absolutely beautiful up - lots of compliments and the faux wood wrapping is very convincing. People are shocked when I tell them it’s aluminum. It was easy to assemble and took about four hours to put together and install, after my partner modified the legs to level them, since the concrete slab we installed it on wasn’t level. It dresses up our backyard so much and didn’t cost much in comparison to other options, and we couldn’t be happier.
