These Bridgette bar stools are really good quality. Exactly as described. I had read a review that the oatmeal color was more gray, I don’t agree as the color is perfect, not gray but not beige either and exactly what I was after. They are well padded, back rest very comfortable, the pedestal is sturdy, they swivel well and go up and down with no problem. I hope I’ll be saying the same thing in a years time! I'll preface this by saying "I fully expect these to be trashed within a few years, as I have a busy kitchen and a three year old". I purchased a less expensive version, fully expecting to have to replace when the kids are older. Edit 2/13/2026. We've now had these just under 6 years. While I started my first review with an expectation of these being absolutely trashed in a couple years, I am thrilled to report that I was wrong. They're holding up great to a now 8 and 4 year olds daily meals. The kids also like to use these stools as stepladders to get cereal, bread, etc out of the upper cabinets.
