[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought my house and the cooktop it had was gas, and didn’t work well. I needed an upgrade and this opportunity fell into my lap. Got it installed and immediately loved the look. Very clean look and goes nicely with my kitchen. Now, functionality. Wow! It heats super fast! Not to mention, evenly! Using the power boost function, I’ve never seen water go from cold to boiling so fast! Still have much more cooking to do but I’m in love so far! The ease of cleaning is the cherry on top!. Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. Does not show any signs of heat at the bottom so it is safe to use on countertops. I might just get a silicone mat anyway. Overall I love it and will play with it more.. Keisha. Corona, NY.
