I purchased this shop vac a couple weeks ago, and used it over the weekend. I was very disappointed, it was very loud but I expected that because it is advertised as commercial grade. i have cats and try to keep the number of chemicals i use to clean at a minimum because their paws end up in their mouths. it works great on floors. i love the detachable part so it can be used in other places. the only problem i had was the handle for the floor feature was not secured and will fall off..
