Got this GE fridge to replace an old GE Profile that finally died. Loved that fridge! This is level down, due to not wanting to spend so much money. It was delivered today, so not sure about the actual function. Few things though that your engineers or designers should think about. My husband is very handy and decided to hookup the water line himself. Problem is the piece that you have to insert the copper water line to is very short, and initially leaked. Also, on door with water/ice, the shelf maybe should have a well built there to catch dripping water or any excess ice. Just 2 initial thoughts so far. I'm hoping to love this one as much as I did my old one... we'll have to see. Quick update: yes, you need to add a well or lip to ice/water fixture. I went to try out the ice 2 days later, it grinned for at least a minute before actually dispensing ice, then it shot out like a bat. Had ice all over the floor due to my glass not being able to hold the amount dispensed. I'm not sure what the problem or answer is.. Lucypearl289. New Jersey. Fri Aug 21 2026

it is very roomy. a little noisy - is a comment on this. not hooking it for ice, will need to request a plug where filter would go and turn ice off ( way in back of freezer). watch temp- freezes at 40!. Diane. New Ashford, MA. Wed May 13 2026

Amazing!! Best refrigerator I’ve had!. Melissa. Riverview, FL. Fri Jul 24 2026

Keep food fresh with this 11.9 cu. ft. GE Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator. Its countertop depth design provides a built-in look while still giving you a compact 24" width. Store up to 5 bottles with The Bottle Storage Rack, this rack also conveniently folds up when not in use for extra storage. Also, a Quickspace Shelf provides room for those tall items by simply sliding back.

I have an odd space and needed a counted depth refrigerator. There are no others in the market that are counter depth that make use of the height unless it's custom and you want to spend $5k plus. It was cold in record time and I am thrilled.. Dianne. Miami, FL. Wed Dec 24 2025

This is a nice refrigerator. I wish it came with a meat drawer and a pull out freezer door. Other than that the sale price was right and I am happy. I like the fact I can hear it running. My LG was too quiet, I kept checking to make sure it was working. I loved it but paid for three repairs. Freezer went out and spoiled all my food so I said enough I will try this GE. So far so good!. WoW! What a great refrigerator. I purchased a GE French door refrigerator in the slate color and I am so happy with everything about the looks and features of this refrigerator. The people were awesome to deal with from sales to delivery and installation I can truly say they went above expectations with their professionalism, kindness, and knowledge of the product. The delivery was so fast and so well put together. The technicians were so nice and professional and they cleaned up the area before they left. Thank you Wayfair and the Mashburn group for an outstanding job well done. I highly recommend Wairfair and the Mashburnn group. I give them all a true 5 out of 5 rating.. William Camden. So far so good! Attractive refrigerator, fits just right. We chose this on because GE has good reliability ratings. Feeling hopeful! The item was perfect. My dealings on the phone with wayfair were 100%. I ordered 3 different refrigerators 3 different times. The first 2 were cancelled days later because they were "out of stock", although they were in stock when I ordered them. Finally, the third one shipped and was scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. Monday evening about 7PM I received a recorded message telling me it would be delivered between 7AM and 11AM. I was told I would get a 30 minute warning text before it arrived. At 7:15AM I got a call from my neighbor that a delivery truck was backing in to my driveway. No warning call or text. I had to scramble to get my neighbor there to organize everything and sign the paperwork. The drivers did a great job getting things done. I have no problem with them. Wayfair, as I said, went above and beyond for me. Whoever was supposed to notify me dropped the ball. And GE, selling me 3 refrigerators while 2 of them were out of stock, failed miserably.. Michael. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Checks all the boxes! I’m so impressed by this GE fridge. Some of my favorite things include the super large shelves that you can fit 2 gallons of milk in and then some! The water bottle dispenser being 11 inches tall is a game changer, I don’t have to tilt/hold my bottle during every refill!! My old fridge did not allow you to use the water dispenser and open the fridge at the same time and this one does, we love to multitask. The inside of the fridge is also nice and bright, well lit and easy to see everything. The installation was seamless. My husband and I worked together to figure out what configuration of the shelves worked best for us, it’s totally customizable. The only thing that would have been a good addition is an autofill water dispenser. Regardless, excellent product!. Kirinp. Wed Sep 16 2026
