We’ve never used gas before with a dryer but I can say that the clothes come out perfectly dry and do not wrinkle or overheat. They feel so soft and do not get ruined from the heating element. I’ve read reviews that it kicks out a lot of heat but in reality my laundry room gets just as warm as with my old vented dryer. It does take slightly longer to dry heavy clothes. I have the drain tube hooked up, which is much less of a process than I thought it would be, super simple. We have been very happy with the dryer so far. Hopefully it stays that way for a long time.. We've had this dryer for a year now. We bought it with the matching washer. Dryer works well, much less lint than our old dryer. The setting that is most helpful is the 18-minute fast dry.
