But overall I would say the ice is 90% clear and it looks even better when it's in the glass. The maker itself is fairly large, but I think it has to be to make the clear ice, and it's a little tricky to get the ice part out. Great value and perfect ice. I removed my dishwasher and put in the ice machine. I do plan to conect it directly to the water line however i couldnt wait to start making ice.
