[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this gate to review. I have a 2 year old who has some special needs, so gates can be important. This gate is very sturdy and well made. I love how tall it is. We have other gates, some that are other brands, and this one is definitely more well built. It has a strong latch and would not be easy for a child to open, now is it easy for them to climb over, being so tall. My only real critiques are that the door, while it will stay open if fully swung open, will also swing/bang shut if it hasn't gone past the half way mark and the door only swings one direction. However, those are minor issues.

Don’t waste your time and money researching other baby gates. We bought two of SummerInfant gates and they’re very sturdy and practical. The money is 100% worth it. I can’t recommend this gate enough. I very rarely review products, but felt strongly about reviewing this gate.

Great gate for containing our growing puppy! This is tall enough that she can't jump over it. We love the "stay open" feature on this gate.

Beautiful gate with excellent quality! It really is a wonderful quality and I love that the gate easily shuts behind you. Helps to keep the dogs on the right side of the fence!

Wish I knew about these gates years ago! I purchased a few of these for use with dogs, as I work with a giant breed rescue. l Most of the dogs have no concept of respecting barriers when they first come in. These gates will be very helpful in conjunction with training. Height and strength is perfect. Door can not be pushed open, even from the bottom. Opening it takes a bit to get used to, but that’s not a bad thing.

Product does not fit dimensions advertised.  The package says it is for 28 to 42 inches. My stairs are 39”.  It should work.  In the instructions it has multiple 1.5” gaps that are invalid.  This is bad design.

I don’t know why the gate would auto shut if it doesn’t lock back into place. It gives the appearance that the gate is locked when it’s not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this gate about a month ago. We have a large opening in our home where a typical baby gate won't fit. I also have a mischievous 3 year old who climbs over typical gates. This gate fit perfectly and it's keeping him out of the kitchen. I was able to install myself, without screws, and quickly too. This is an A+ buy for us.

Purchased two of these gates for our home to keep our dogs in the kitchen as well as, from long down the hall. Gates are easy to install and use. They are a great height and keep both of our dogs contained as intended. One thing to note, both gates were received and appeared slightly bent. Once installed they were perfect. I believe the ‘bend’ is due to the tension required for proper installation of the gate.
