My roomba S9 had its first runs today. One was a full cleaning run and one was the mapping run. I already cleaned and mopped the house myself a few days ago as well. As soon as it finished i noticed tears on the rubber brush, it s a little disappointment since this is my first experience with irobot's products, and i m not really looking forwards to endless expenses for replacements after only a few runs.

I have to change them after one month this is my 3rd time I change them. And to expensive.

Purchased the S9+ thinking it would be the best. My brushes split in the center of the brushes in less than 2 months. I have hardwood floors. The robot health section on the app shows 288 hours left before replacement. Looks like we have a problem with the quality of the brushes!

These roller brushes fall apart so quickly. I replaced mine about a month ago and they are already splitting and missing pieces. They work great for the first week but quickly fall apart after that. My husband bought my first roomba for me back in 2016. We have always loved roomba and enjoyed the easy it gave us to keep our home clean with kids, pets and our busy schedule. We never had replacement parts fall apart like this with our two older models. I wish we would have never upgraded. Please fix your parts before you loose loyal customers.

I own two Rumbas. A 6 that is still using the original rollers after two years. It worked so well we bought a 9. Disappointed with the 9. within 2 months the rollers were broken. I replaced them with after-market rollers because at the speed of the break I could not afford the OEM rollers every quarter. The after marker rollers are much noisier, but they have lasted a year so far. It is like tires on your car, which is more expensive, however, if you had to replace a tire or two on your car every quarter or even 6 months, would you keep buying that brand of tires or even keep that car? I think not. I have been hearing for a long time how sorry the company is that their rollers don't hold up, but I don't see or hear about anything being done to improve the quality or fix the problem.

S9 is a great vacuum but the rollers are TERRIBLE. Have to replace constantly (1-2 months) due to hair breaking them even with cleaning the rollers every week!!

Love my Roomba, but the rollers split in half after 2 months of use. No big deal if they didn't cost $45 to replace. I can't keep up with almost $300 in roller replacements per year.

This is our second IRobot roomba. The first, though less expensive, was MUCH better. When it needed replaced, we bought this one and are horribly disappointed. Not only do the green brush rollers break and split when a hair gets wrapped around them, but they do NOT work well in general. I notice more missed spots than ever only hardwood, and don't even get me started about what it can't pick up on the carpet.....
