This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. It's in my daughters room so it takes a beating and is holding up.. Holly. Ferrisburgh, VT. Thu Apr 16 2026

Amazing! I wanted to change-up the frame on our king-size bed to something more simple. Saw this and SO glad I chose it! The frame is strong metal, but it looks like wood. Very stable too, not a single creak or wobble! Bonus - We got back 8 inches of floor space the previous headboard/platform needed. A very clean look!. Laura. MA. Wed Sep 30 2026
