Absolutely love this braiser! The 3.5 qt size is perfect for everyday cooking—not too big, but still roomy enough for a family meal. It heats evenly and is so versatile for everything from searing and sautéing to braising and one-pot meals. I also love how beautiful it looks straight from the stove to the table. It is definitely on the heavier side, but the quality feels amazing and well worth it. So happy with this purchase!. Anonymous. Wed Aug 12 2026

Crafted from enameled cast iron, it offers even heat distribution and retains warmth, making it a great choice for both stovetop and oven use. This cocotte features a non-stick surface, so cleanup is a breeze, and it's dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to keep it looking its best. With its raised ridges on the lid and a nickel knob, it’s designed to handle temperatures up to 500°F with the lid and 900°F without. Plus, it's compatible with all stove types, including induction.

Le Creuset’s braiser is crafted from our legendary enameled cast iron and is uniquely designed to provide steady, even heat to transform tough cuts of meat and hearty vegetables into tender, flavorful dishes. The wide base allows ingredients to be placed in a single layer for searing without crowding; once the liquid is added, the heavy lid circulates steam to lock in moisture and flavor. Durable and easy to clean, the versatile shape of the braiser also makes it perfect for sautéing, shallow frying, steaming, casseroles, and serving dishes at the table – the ideal pan for every day.
