Only laid on it for a few minutes so far but it seems very stable. I am a 300lb man. The trundle slides nicely under the bad. Be aware you can only uses a 6in twin mattress on the trundle if you want it o slide under. It is nice that the trundle completely separates from the full bed frame. It also can rise up to the same level of the full frame. Was not hard to assemble.
