Absolutely recommend a rubber mallet. It’s not hard to assemble per se but tedious. I’m admitted lover of assembling things, but I did throw out a few choice swears in this assembly. Would have given a perfect rating but I wish the parts were labeled properly as it was hard to assemble it in the beginning. This thing has been the hardest thing to put together. The instructions are not instructions it’s a diagram of the parts there is one sentence in eng. on each step that is not well written or descriptive. I brought this thing a few months ago and literally gave up on putting it together and a big part of me wants to say I’m just missing pieces but I can’t for sure tell because I can’t figure out how to properly put it together.
