Very well built ladder. Easy to put together, you will need 75 lbs of sand. Using a funnel to add sand to the 2 side pieces. Once in pool ladder stays in place and does not float up. Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going.
