I really was excited about this water filtration system but after setting it up I have to say I’m kind of disappointed. I have been buying bottled water for a long time because even tap water that’s been filtered through a filter that attaches to my kitchen faucet gives me heartburn. On top of that I got a letter from the city saying my water is coming into my house through lead pipes! So I felt it was time to up my water filtration game! My biggest concern with this system is that I wasn’t able to find a replacement filter anywhere. The manufacturer and big box store that sell them show them as sold out. This system came with a filter but what good is it if I can’t get a replacement filter when I need one The set up was a pain as well because it requires running four liters of water through the machine three times before you can use it. So, after all that, how does the water taste It’s ok. It’s not really good tasting water. It also takes up more counter space in my small house. It does what it says so I give it four stars but I’m not going to tell all my friends to buy one. Also, two pieces of plastic were broken off the lid to the water reservoir. The particles in this filter leaks out and it looks like it was assembled in someones home by hand with play sand and glue sticks. I am almost tempted to return it if not for the cost of returning. I will have lost even more money then. Very very disappointed in the quality. Do not waste your money. The other issue is the photo makes it look like the filter is full when it is maybe a little more than 1/3 full in each compartment (see photo 1), and lastly there are green platic looking large pieces in the charcoal part (see photo 2)?
