It took me a long time to find something that would hold my Ashiatsu bars! These brackets (while quite pricey) look so stylish! My 1.5” diameter dowels fit perfectly through the holes. The bracket holes even have a place for a little screw to hold dowel in place, but I didn’t need it. I painted the dowels and they’re staying in place pretty snug. Very happy with these!. Diy Gal. An impressively polished and sturdy pole that has some heft. We used it as a ballet barre for pointe shoe fittings in our business. I could not be happier with the finished product. We had to trim the bar ever so slightly with a miter saw, but with the right blade (non-ferrous), we had no problem. While not employed to hang clothes, it would fulfill that purpose easily.
