I purchased the Vornado Portal Low Profile Window Fan for our nearly 200-year-old farmhouse, which does not have central air conditioning, and it has made a noticeable difference in keeping the house comfortable. Portable Electric Fan

The fans ( I ordered 3) are a substitute for the original that I had ordered. Double fans are quiet and reversable and can have them each go a different direction. The remote is a nice bonus, and this was the back order sub, as the one I picked out had no remoted, and they are very quiet. The sides are helpful to keep the sun out. The only thing it took a long time to get here ( back-ordered) is why it lost a star.....one is in the kitchen to remove kitchen cooking smells and bring in fresh air.. Anonymous. Fri Jun 19 2026
