Frame was very easy to put together and seems sturdy/well made. That said, we have not yet put the mattress on it, or slept on it. It is however put together, it seems sturdier than other frames we have had. The corner posts that prevent the mattress from slipping are a nice feature. It also has two side fenders (one on each side), that are supposed to prevent mattress from sliding off the sides of the bed. I like that it sits 18 inches off the ground, so guests do not feel like they are sleeping on the ground, but also so we can store things underneath if needed. We plan to put a 14 inch mattress on this frame, without a box spring, so this will be a normal height bed. The outside posts are a little more decorative than the usual straight iron and their are support posts all the way up the middle. The cross bars are also secured into place so they will not slide.
