Before using our sauna backrest, please briefly assemble the headrest. First, adjust the height and angle to your preference. Then align the holes and tighten the screws by hand.
Important Tips: Our upgraded screw design allows for tool-free installation—simply tighten with one hand, no wrench needed. For smooth angle adjustment, gently tighten the screw just until it engages; there’s no need to turn it in deeply. The headrest is only fully secure when you’re leaning against the backrest. This is especially useful for infrared saunas and helps protect your skin from burns caused by heating plates.
During use, the wooden panel may squeak with adjustments; this is normal. We recommend placing three rectangular towels on the bench, behind the backrest, and under the headrest to further protect the wooden surface.
Good quality. Fairly easy to assemble. The screw and nut positions made it a little awkward to hold the nut while screwing it together, but doable. Suggestion: just put the screw in without the nut while you are figuring out what hight you want it adjusted to. I screwed and unscrewed 3 different positions before I decided which height I liked best. If you are sharing with someone of a different height, you would have to unscrew and redo it for each person each time, and that might get annoying real quick.
