[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this new stainless steel lunch box from brabantia because I was fed up of having squashed sarnies in cling film everytime I went for a picnic or took a pack lunch somewhere. This one is a medium size and it's excellent with an airtight lid. You can fit quite a bit inside and it's all nice and secure whilst travelling, intact I can fit enough lunch for myself and my partner in it and because it's stainless steel when I've taken it out in the cooler bag salads and fruit stay nice and cool . Despite it being a lovely-seeming thing, which I believe will outlast the guarantee, i cannot give it more than 4 stars, given the absurd amount of plastic in the packaging; people are going to wash such objects before using them; I may be a little extreme, but I would be happy with it wrapped in old newspaper; but even bamboo paper or recycled paper, which will anyway help absorb any ambient moisture............... Love these. I wondered when I purchased them whether they would be a seldom-used, unnecessary kitchen accessory. It turned out that I use them very frequently. You'd be surprised how often they are just the right size to store small things that take up minimal space in my fridge or pantry. They come in handy when I am doing advance prep for a dinner and need only small quantities of particular ingredients, such as spices, chopped garlic, etc. They are well made and of good quality.
