I purchased this Murphy bed because I have a small guestroom that is dual purposes as a sewing room when I don’t have overnight company. It took my husband and I three and half hours to assemble. I highly recommend having a partner to help with the assembly. Trust the instructions and the process. I followed them exactly without any problems. This is made with manufactured wood so take your time during the assembly process and everything will come together nicely. This unit was exactly what I needed for the space. I was worried that the wood color would be too yellow, but its not, its a neutral beige and doesnt clash with the flooring. It looks great. But price is so high. Make sure you have brick wall in your house because it is very heavy also no instructions for drywall. This is stellar! My husband and I took our time putting this together, we wanted to make sure it turned out really well. We split it up into 2 days, also if you have two drills, itll probably be quicker lol. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I do recommend having a second person around, some of the pieces are bigger and you just need an extra set of hands. I was so skeptical about purchasing this bed because of the price point. It was a really good price. And I was worried that it was going to be cheaply made or pieces broken when we got it, or it wouldn’t fit together the way it’s supposed to. It took my Handyman about eight hours to put it together.
