I bought this for our condo back patio, which is only about 8' deep in most place. Our umbrella can't hang over the fence into the walkway, so this one is small enough to fit well, while still being large enough to cover an area for two chairs (waiting for our wicker chairs) and a rectangular glass table (end chairs could be a bit in the sun). Others are 7.5' across or wider, which wouldn't work. The color is bright and vibrant! It's easy to open and close and I love the tilting, although if you're short, you might need a step ladder to do it! The material is a little thin compared to the last umbrella I had. I don't mind that, and it makes it lighter to carry but I wonder if that's why it spins a little in the breeze (maybe there's a way to lock it in place?).
