This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has six (6) legs that utilize our uniquely designed glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. Guaranteeing the structural integrity of the part is perfectly consistent from one part to the next. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. The 2-inch wide center support on this frame is used head-to-toe on the king and full sizes. It can be used either head-to-toe or side-to-side on a queen size. This makes it perfect for split queen foundations. This frame sits approximately 7 1/2" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centered on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. This frame uses our Instamatic assembly. This is a keyhole/riveted design that allows the frame to be set up and locked together without the use of tools and hardware. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards.
