I couldn’t be happier with these bookcases. They look beautiful, feel sturdy once assembled, and offer a surprising amount of storage. The combination of open shelving, drawers, and cabinet space makes them both functional and attractive.
Assembly is definitely a two-person job and is a bit involved. Our first bookcase took about four hours to assemble, but by the time we built the second one, we’d learned the process and finished it in under three hours.
One tip for future buyers the instructions have you attach the hinges to the cabinet doors first and then install them after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to attach the hinge hardware to the cabinet frame before installing the top panel, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it’s much easier than trying to work in a cramped space with tiny screws.
