Came in 2 boxes. There are a lot of parts, but they were all there and no damage. Probably took about 4-5 hours for I and my wife to put together. We added a 6 inch tri fold mattress and there is also room to fold the comforter in the cabinet. Sheets and pillows stowed below. It all showed up at the same time that was really nice. It did take awhile to put together for one person but the directions were very detailed and were great it works amazingly.
