A soft, high-pile washable wool rug. Named for esteemed linocut artists, these rugs feature a thick cut-pile design which reads as tone-on-tone. Catlett's engraved, asymmetrical border is made up of various line weights. Our first collection of washable wool rugs involved many rounds of revision to ensure these pieces were beautiful and functional. Their modified construction makes the rugs quite supple, so they're more easily squashed into a washing machine; without compromising on thickness, softness, and fluffiness. The graphic simplicity of the linework sings across their soft fields, allowing the high-low effect of the pile to shine through.
