The unit came together easily. Following the pictures and previous review suggesting you be aware of the different size pegs was helpful. The drawers were the easy part fitting the center piece that separated the two column of draws was interesting as was the top brace for the draws. This dresser is perfect for my granddaughter, it was fairly easy to put together a little time consuming but not bad for doing it myself. It was fairly easy to put together with just 1 person. It looks nice and the drawers slide smoothly. The drawers are all pretty short. Top 4 drawers are 4 inches tall and the bottom drawer being only 3 inches. So I will have to see how much I can truly fit in there. The bottom drawer has an additional secret drawer which is kind of difficult to get in and out of and I’m not really sure what you would actually put in there Cash and valuables in case of an emergency Idk. ‍♀️.
